The Best GTA 6 Laptops Reviewed
Lenovo LOQ 15 (Ryzen 7 7435HS)
This LOQ 15 pairs the RTX 4060 with a Ryzen 7 7435HS, 32GB DDR5, and a 1TB SSD, and it even ships with a cooler bundle. The 32GB of memory is the standout, giving you plenty of headroom for GTA 6’s sprawling world alongside a browser or Discord, and the 15.6-inch 144Hz panel keeps action crisp.
Acer Nitro 5 (i7-12650H)
The Nitro 5 combines a 12th-gen i7-12650H with the RTX 4060, 16GB DDR5, and a fast 1TB Gen4 SSD behind a 15.6-inch 144Hz IPS display. Its RGB backlit keyboard and Killer Wi-Fi 6 round out a well-balanced package that handles modern titles at high settings comfortably.
Lenovo LOQ 15 (Ryzen 7 8845HS)
Stepping up the CPU, this LOQ variant uses the Ryzen 7 8845HS with the RTX 4060, 32GB RAM, and a generous 2TB SSD plus G-SYNC. The larger storage and newer chip make it ideal if you keep a big library or plan to do light content creation alongside gaming.
MSI Thin 15.6 (i5-13420H)
The MSI Thin is the value pick, pairing an i5-13420H with the RTX 4060, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD, plus Wi-Fi 6E and a backlit keyboard. It trims cost while keeping the essential 4060 GPU, making it a smart entry point for GTA 6 at high settings.
Acer Nitro V ANV15 (i7-13620H)
This Nitro V teams a 10-core i7-13620H with the RTX 4060 and a 15.6-inch 144Hz FHD panel, plus Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6. It is a strong all-rounder with modern connectivity, well suited to players who also want future expansion and fast external storage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can an RTX 4060 laptop run GTA 6 at high settings?
Yes. The RTX 4060 with DLSS is well suited to running demanding open-world games at high settings on a 1080p or 1200p display, which is exactly what these laptops use.
Is 16GB of RAM enough, or should I get 32GB?
16GB will run the game, but 32GB gives valuable headroom for a large open world plus background apps. Models like the Lenovo LOQ variants with 32GB are the more future-proof choice.
How much storage do I need for GTA 6?
Modern blockbusters can occupy a hundred gigabytes or more. A 1TB SSD is the practical minimum, and 2TB, as on one LOQ model, saves you from constantly managing space.
Does the CPU matter for open-world games?
Very much. Open-world titles lean on the CPU for physics, AI, and streaming. A modern 8-core Ryzen 7 or 10-core Intel i7 keeps frame times smooth as you drive through dense areas.
Final Thoughts
For GTA 6 on an RTX 4060 laptop, the Lenovo LOQ 15 with the Ryzen 7 8845HS, 32GB RAM, and 2TB SSD is our top overall pick for its headroom and storage. The Acer Nitro 5 is the best balanced buy, and the MSI Thin is the value standout for players watching their budget. Any of them will get you into Vice City at high settings without overspending.
